So, when I asked the universe for a sign, I hadn’t really expected to find one right in my own backyard.
But there it was. A huge swarm of red dragonflies whirling and twirling above our patio umbrella.
With their Chinese-red bodies and rainbow prism wings, they were leaping and spiraling. Like a dragonfly ballet.
As if that wasn’t magical enough, the dragonflies came back for three more days.
Finally, thanks to Google, I figured out why.
I learned that dragonflies spend most of their lives stuck in the muck, crawling around the bottom of a pond— up to four years, in fact.
Then, one seemingly random day, the dragonfly climbs up on a reed or leaf into the sunlight.
And tada! Just like that, her wings unfurl. They’d been growing all along.
That’s when I got it.
I’M A DRAGONFLY.(And maybe you are too.)
Now, at this stage of my life, I’m finally ready to rise above my fears and share my true colors with the world.
Just as the dragonflies gave me hope and inspiration, I know that’s what I’m here to do for you.
To help you get unstuck from your muck. And to help your find your magic.
